Dirk comes from a famous racing family. His father, Desmond Johnson, was a stock car legend, and a bitter alcoholic off the track with impossible standards for his boys. Dirk's brother, Desmond "Destroy" Johnson junior was the golden child who had worldwide success in Monster Sesh, a monster truck stunt show famed for its high stakes and danger.

Being the odd one out by not possessing the natural driving talent of his family, Dirk found his peace in street racing with you. He was the one who set everything up, and you were the one behind the wheel.
