Immure Creations® are the games created by me, Rudi Greig, a game developer who started in 2017 at age 13. Many solo projects were created with collaborators, but until 2022, it was just me.
In 2018 I worked with my friend Robert Rece to create many small games. A year later I collaborated with multiple musicians; creating music for the games with Brogan Finnigan, and using songs by HOFU (Nile Barrow), Dedbeats and my dad Jon Greig.
In February 2021 me and Robert entered the game "Symbiote" into the Brackey's Game Jam placing #505 out of 1824 entries, not bad for a game made in 2 days. For separate categories, its highest ranked category was Audio, and lowest was Graphics - but all above average. I designed the visuals, audio, and character controller whilst Robert did level design and coded the AI pathing.
Later that year, I released The Infecting 3 on December 1st 2021. The Infecting 3 was the third instalment of a simple 2D shooter franchise I had created that was based on the idea "what if we were in the zombie apocalypse right now?" It wasn't anything mind-blowing, but showed the start of a new era, with it being my first game released on Steam.
In 2022 I began the development of Tarmac Legends®, and during that time I met artist for the game Crabappllez, as well as car modeller David Hewitt (Racedriver43), and environment modeller/UV artist Amy Roberts (The Shotty). Now with a balanced team, the game could have a more professional development and reach it's full potential, as before I was relying too heavily on assets from the unity asset store or my own lacking modelling skills. With others assisting such as Maxwell Montes composing the original soundtrack, and Andy Kwok assisting with code, the game became a community effort of skills.
I set out to make the games I always wanted to play as a kid. I had numerous favourite games which I still thought were lacking in some way, or had concepts that could've been explored further; this is my attempt at rectifying that. I want to make games people truly want to play, for niche fans of certain specific car or horror media, rather than appealing to the masses and watering down the overall experience. I'm constantly working at bettering my games and myself, and hope I can create the kind of stories and experiences that speak to you as much as they speak to me!
